Who is considered a skilled worker?
A skilled worker is any person who has special skills, training, qualifications and experience in a certain trade. The Canadian government uses the National Occupational Classification (NOC) to categorize skilled job positions for immigration purposes. Skilled jobs are divided into three types, 0, A and B:
Skill type 0: Management jobs
Skill level A: Professional jobs that usually require a degree
Skill level B: Technical jobs and skilled trades that usually require a diploma or apprentice training

When to use the CRS scoring system?
CRS score to be used if applying for express entry programs (FSWP, FSTP, CEC,PNP)- college or university degree, skilled work experience, and proper language ability. CRS score can be influenced by- language proficiency, age, level of work experience, education and Canadian connections (increase chances of success-under 30 years age, 2 bachelors degree or masters degree, CLB 8 or higher, atleast 3 years of work experience, Canadian work experience, Canadian education, Canadian siblings, arranged Canadian employment offer, a nomination from a PNP). If applying for CEC or have arranged employment, then you do not need to show proof of funds.
PNP route should be taken mostly if you have Canadian connections, for example- working or studying in Canada.

How to increase your scores?
You can increase your score by retaking your language test, gaining work experience, pursuing additional training, or working and studying in Canada.
And if you are offered a job in Canada while you are in the pool, your CRS score may also increase enough to get an ITA for permanent residence.
PNP allows participating Canadian provinces and territories to nominate foreign workers and international graduates for permanent residence in Canada via Express Entry-aligned streams.

What is the best age to Immigrate to Canada?
It depends on the stream you are applying for, but any stream that requires a certain amount of points to be achieved for qualifying, the general rule of thumb to achieve the maximum points for age, is between 20 and 29 years old.

Is a job offer needed to apply under EE?
No, you do not need a job offer to submit your Express Entry profile. However, a job offer may increase your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence, as you will receive additional CRS points.

How to create an Express Entry (EE) profile?
Fill out the online form on the IRCC website. If you are eligible, you will be redirected to create your Express Entry profile, where you will provide details regarding:

How much work experience is needed to qualify for Canadian Experience class (CEC)?
You need to have at least 12 months of full-time work experience in the last three years (1,560 hours), or the part-time equivalent (for example, 15 hours per week for 24 months)

How to apply for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?
In order to immigrate to Canada through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), you will need a Canadian provincial or territorial government to nominate you.
To get started, you will need to apply directly to the province or territory you are interested in immigrating to. You will then be assessed based on various factors such as your education and work experience. If you meet the province or territory’s labor needs, you might be invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
Once approved, you will be able to apply for Canadian permanent residence. Depending on the program, you may be able to apply through the Express Entry system or through the regular application process.

Which test is needed to assess the English language ability for a skilled class?
There are two language tests you can take to demonstrate your English language proficiency for Canadian immigration. They are IELTS General Training and the CELPIP.
