Express Entry (EE):-

The goal of Express Entry system, is to help speed up the process of approving highly qualified skilled foreign workers for a Permanent Resident (PR) Visa to Canada so that they can help meet the labor needs of Canadian industries.

For EE applications, the Candidates need to create an online profile, where they are scored through the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) based on different criteria (Age, Education, Language proficiency, work experience, and adaptability). (CRS) is a point-based system. If the candidate scores high enough and the profile is drawn from the Express Entry pool, they are issued with an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. If you receive an ITA, you are permitted to accept or decline it within 60 days. If you accept it, you will receive your visa and be able to move to Canada permanently. If you fail to accept it in the given period, your application will not be successful. This application can be processed in as little as six months.

Express Entry draw takes place every two weeks, and the candidates with highest scores gets selected for an ITA.  Your EE profile remains active for one year. If you do not get selected during this time, you can create a new profile, as many time as you like.
